Back 15 plus years ago when I first started training dogs I was very hesitant to use dog training collars because the collars did not give you the ability to select the correct level of stimulation for the infraction. Which lead to electronic collars getting the nick name “shock collars”. Well that has all changed. Today’s collars offer the handler or dog trainer the ability to select from a very mild stimulation to much more stern correction, right at the transmitter. This means a trainer I can now give the dog the proper correction for the infraction. It does not have to be a “one-size-fits-all” type of correction for your hunting dogs.
